Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Technical Co-Founder. The Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for co-building and developing the AI-powered legal technology platform, managing and leading the technical team, and overseeing all technical aspects of the startup. Daily tasks will include designing system architecture, coding, implementing AI and machine learning algorithms, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the scalability and security of the platform. Additionally, the Technical Co-Founder will work closely with other founders and stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of the company.

Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid model available)

Commitment: Full-time founding role

Compensation: Competitive base + equity upside

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in system architecture and software development
• Strong background in AI and machine learning algorithms
• Skills in coding languages such as Python, Java, or related
• Proficiency in leading technical teams and managing projects
• Experience in ensuring the scalability and security of platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in legal tech, Fintech, Health tech or startup environments is a plus

Role & Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

· Define technical strategy and platform architecture for AI-powered legal services

· Lead engineering decisions including technology stack, development frameworks, & scalability planning

· Build and lead technical team as platform scales from prototype to production

·  Establish development practices including code quality, security standards, & deployment processes

Product Development

·  Oversee platform development from current prototype through market-ready production system

·  Guide AI integration strategy for document processing, case prediction, and legal analytics

·  Ensure platform security and compliance with international data protection requirements

·  Optimize user experience across web and mobile platforms for diverse user segments

Business Partnership

·  Collaborate on strategic decisions affecting company direction and market positioning

·  Participate in fundraising providing technical expertise and vision to investors

·  Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors, legal institutions, and government agencies

·  Contribute to business development leveraging technical expertise for competitive advantage

Innovation & Growth

·  Drive platform innovation incorporating latest AI/ML technologies and legal industry trends

·  Scale technical infrastructure to support international expansion and enterprise clients

·  Research and development leadership for advanced legal technology capabilities

·  Technical due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or investment opportunities

Technical Expertise

Full-Stack Development Leadership (7+ years)

· Frontend mastery: React.js, modern JavaScript, responsive design, multilingual interfaces

·  Backend architecture: Node.js, Python, microservices, API design, database optimization

·  AI/ML integration: LLM APIs, natural language processing, machine learning model implementation

·  Cloud platforms: AWS/GCP/Azure with DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable infrastructure experience

System Architecture & Security

·  Enterprise architecture experience designing systems for regulated industries

·  Security expertise including data encryption, compliance frameworks, & secure development practices

·  Database design for complex workflows with high-performance requirements
