Senior Manager, Project Management

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented candidate with a technical background who can effectively coordinate resources and manage projects. The role involves setting clear objectives, defining targets, and delivering results within set timelines while ensuring high-quality outcomes and maintaining control over the project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing team responsibilities, setting expectations, and defining success factors that align with our project milestones. 

Project Management: Manage software/application development projects in an agile environment. Hands-on experience in software development is mandatory, with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully. 

Scope Definition: Define project scope and objectives and ensure alignment of business goals with technical requirements. Resource Planning & Allocation: Assess the resources needed for software development, ensuring their optimal utilization. Estimate the effort required to complete the project and be able to guide teams technically in overcoming obstacles or roadblocks. 

Risk & Stakeholder Management: Ensure risks are managed effectively and maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely delivery of project updates. 

Management Tools Proficiency: Utilize project management tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Asana, and others to track progress, assign tasks, and ensure project goals are met. 

Vendor & Supplier Management: Manage contracts, assign tasks, and ensure vendors and suppliers meet expected deliverables. 

Best Practices Implementation: Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution. 

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification. Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement. Education and Experience:  

~ Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to, bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field 

~1-2 years of project management and related experience 

~ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 

~ Agile certification is preferred 

~ Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices 

~ Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle 

~ Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline 

Create project specifications. 

Perform resource planning. 

Execute risk analysis. 

Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary. 

Agile, action oriented and a quick learner.
