Role:Mainframe MQ AdministratorExperience:7-15 YearsLocations:Bangalore,MumbaiMust have & good to have:Skills:Mainframe MQ AdminMust-Have- Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.- Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.- Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement- Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .- Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records etc..)Good-to-Have- Good understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS, DB2, IMS..) and third party application servers.- Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze- Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.- Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and COBOL.- IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems, SW downloads, Escalations- SNResponsibility of / Expectations from the Role1Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting2Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement3Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze4Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .
