Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Akamai SME to lead the configuration, monitoring, and automation of CDN and tooling systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Akamai CDN, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and DevOps tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, manage alerts, and optimize performance across environments.Key Responsibilities:Configure application and web transaction monitoring using Akamai tools.Create customized reports and manage alert definitions.Integrate auto-ticketing systems and manage different views/templates.Install, configure, and customize tooling systems to meet business needs.Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.Provide technical support and troubleshoot tooling-related issues.Develop and maintain documentation and best practices.Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.Stay updated with industry trends and recommend tooling enhancements.Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of Akamai CDN and web performance optimization.Experience with HashiCorp Terraform for infrastructure automation.Familiarity with AWX, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell).Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.Experience with tooling systems and configuration management.
