The Wedding Company has raised a seed round from prominent investors like Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox cofounder and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Wakefit cofounder.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage end-to-end planning, design, and execution of luxury weddings and high-scale events.- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, style, and preferences to curate personalized experiences.- Supervise and guide the planning team, interns, and on-ground coordinators throughout the project lifecycle.- Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and checklists ensuring seamless coordination across departments.- Manage vendor relationships — including décor, hospitality, F&B, production, entertainment, and logistics.- Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and coordination sessions with internal and external stakeholders.- Ensure flawless execution during events, managing real-time problem-solving and guest experience.- Oversee documentation, reports, and post-event debriefs to evaluate project performance.- Maintain brand standards, client confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.Key Requirements- Minimum 8 years of experience in wedding planning or luxury event management.- Proven track record of handling premium destinations and large-scale weddings.- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent aesthetic sense and attention to detail.- Willingness to travel across India and internationally for projects.Education- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Luxury Brand Management, or related field preferred.Note: We are an equal opportunity employer.
