Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer at THE FORMIST GROUP in Bengaluru. The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for

*Managing parts of construction projects.

*Overseeing construction work.

*Undertaking surveys.

*Setting out sites.

*Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and to ensure that they are followed correctly.

*Supervising contracted staff.

*Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.

*Liaising with subcontractors, local authority employees, architects and other professionals, especially Quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.

*Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.

*Preparing site reports and logging progress.

*Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

*Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills
  • Experience in Planning and Stormwater Management
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design software
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Diploma
  • Previous experience in construction and site management is a plus
  • Work Experience 1-3 years
