TOSCA - Senior Test Automation Analyst

Description - ExternalTechnical Competencies –· Years of overall experience: 5 to 8.· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP Test Automation experience using TOSCA Test suite.· Ability to work as an Individual contributor – gather automation requirements from BA’s and stakeholders (global) through effective communication, estimate automation effort, Automation planning, design automated scripts or run proof-of-concepts (as required), execute tests and report results to stakeholders timely.· Strong hands-on knowledge of building and implementing automation for SAP (GUI and FIORI), Web, Desktop apps, Mobile and APIs using TOSCA.· Ability to create and manage workspace in TOSCA, handle TOSCA components effectively and design automation framework from scratch.· Capable for planning, designing, deploying, maintaining and troubleshoot scripts in TOSCA. Analyze and locate the exception layer where test scripts fail and fix the scripts.· Experience of testing the following SAP modules preferred – SD, MM, FICO, PP, PM etc.· Experience in automating S4HANA FIORI based application.· Strong VB or C# scripting or related descriptive programming skills.· Strong knowledge of Testing concepts, troubleshooting skills and Test life cycle (SDLC, STLC and Defect Life cycle – V&V).· Core Skills -o Strong knowledge of automation using TOSCA test suite.o Ability to work with minimal hand holding or supervision.o Test management and workflow in Solman 7.2, JIRA or ALM.o Hands on experience with descriptive programming and custom function creation skills using VB or C# scripting.o Good exposure to database schema/querying and application architectural insights.o Strong at OOPS and programming concepts.o Exposure to Agile Methodology.o Flexible mindset - Quickly learn new technologies and deliver.o Inclination towards technological innovation.· Good to have –o TOSCA Certification(s)o Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM.o Knowledge of MS SQL Server.o Knowledge of CI/CD integration concepts.o Knowledge of other SAP automation tools such as Solman CBTA and UFT.o Knowledge of automation using other tools and technologies such as Selenium Webdriver etc.Professional Attributes -· Excellent written and oral communication skills.· Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment.· Flexibility, Agility and Adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.· Team player & ability to see tasks through completion with required quality and timescale.· Ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines.Interpersonal & problem-solving skills with analytical and decision-making skills.Qualifications - ExternalBachelors Degree - CS (preferred)About UsSchneider Electric™ creates connected technologies that reshape industries, transform cities and enrich lives.
