Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer (Manual+Automation). The QA Engineer will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating and executing test cases, and automation testing. The QA Engineer will be involved in the E2 E software testing of the application (Mobile+Web+App).Responsibilities* Review requirements, specifications, and PRDs to provide timely and valuable feedback.* Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases* Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet software needs* Design, develop, and execute optimized automation scripts with report generation and alerts using open-source tools.* Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify and discuss requirements.* Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts* Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.Requirements and skills* Proven work experience 3+ years as QA Engineer.* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases* Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and API testing.* Hands-on experience with Selenium with BDD, and TDD framework.* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. E-commerce is preferred.* BE/B. Tech/BCA/MCA degree in Computer Science, or a related subjectNote: Knowledge and Expertise in Performance testing, Jenkins, VAPT, and Generative AI using Prompt is a plus.
