In support of our strategy and to help achieve our goals, Nouryon is hiring a Sustainability Analyst.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

  • Support Nouryon’s sustainability program across 3 pillars: IMPROVE, GROW, and ENGAGE
  • Support development of ESG rating submissions (EcoVadis, CDP).
  • Support external submissions such as the UN Global Compact for Nouryon’s commitment.
  • Develop data process improvements to increase standardization, improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve quality and accuracy.
  • Assist the Sustainability team in developing presentation materials and benchmarking analysis to enhance critical thinking and maximize team effectiveness in proposals for key decisions.
  • Contribute to Nouryon’s annual Sustainability Report amidst a rapidly evolving regulatory reporting landscape. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Support sustainability requests from customers, external stakeholders, etc.
  • Act as a sustainability advocate by promoting achievements and building awareness both internally and externally.
  • Monitor developments in the field of sustainability and socialize insights to inform best practices
  • Investigate opportunities for improvement and help build business cases for change.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adept at developing PowerPoint slides with polished visuals.
  • Project management, with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and demonstrate effective planning, and decision making.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team – across functions and time zones with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting and disclosure (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and ratings (CDP, EcoVadis) a plus.
  • Knowledge of sustainability concepts and corporate environmental and social issues a plus. For example: GHG emissions, energy, water, waste, responsible supply chain, CSR – and the ability to translate these into business-relevant insights
