WHAT YOU OFFER USAt least 6+ years of experience in design automation, technology development, or related fields. Hands-on experience on innovative Design-based Tech Automation Team Lead to oversee the development and implementation of automation tools for design and Development workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and technology, leading a team to streamline creative processes, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth project delivery through cutting-edge automation solutions. Your primary roles and responsibilities will include: Lead Automation Initiatives: Oversee the automation of design & Development-related workflows, from concept to deployment, using advanced tools and technologies (e. G., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch). Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, and IT, as well as external stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, improving project timelines and reducing manual tasks. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers, designers, and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Project Management: Drive projects from inception through completion, ensuring deadlines are met and that automation solutions meet design and business requirements. Tool Development: Experience in developing or integrating custom automation tools using languages such as Python, Java Script, or Ruby, and implementing them in design workflows using platforms like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Performance Monitoring: Analyze the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions, tracking KPIs and making data-driven adjustments as needed. Training & Support: Provide training to design and production teams on how to use new automation tools and workflows effectively. Research & Innovation: Stay up to date on industry trends, automation technologies, and design tools, incorporating them into team processes where applicable. OTHER COMPETENCIES/YOU MUST HAVE THE SENSIBILITY TO: Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages like Java Script, Python, Ruby, Bash, and tools such as Adobe Extend Script and Figma Plugins enables automation of tasks like resizing and format conversion. Familiarity with APIs allows dynamic content generation and real-time updates. Expertise in design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and task automation tools like Grunt improves workflow efficiency and collaboration. Familiar with Apple Script for automating tasks on mac OS, Shell scripting for command-line operations, and utilizing Node. Js to build custom tools that can work across various platforms. Experience working with cloud-based tools (e. G., AWS, Google Cloud) and collaborative platforms like Git Hub or Bitbucket. Experience in the development of the plugins for the design platforms such as Figma, Adobe photoshop. Proficient in the software development life cycle utilizing JIRA. Experience in RPA tools like automation anywhere, power automate, blue prism etc. Knowledge of the version control systems using git. Strong understanding of web page functionality, with solid expertise in HTML, CSS, and Java Script. Proficient in leveraging AI tools and utilizing pre-built models from Hugging Face. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage automation projects from ideation to completion. Problem-solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies in design processes and develop automated solutions. Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and stakeholders. Project Management: Experience in managing complex automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet requirements. GREAT TO HAVEWorking knowledge of 3 D modelling Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite Experience with prototyping tools such as In Vision for creating interactive prototypes and user flows. Experience in the development of the browser extensions such as chrome extensions. Basic knowledge of the Adobe creative cloud tools. Basic knowledge of the AI and machine learning. LOCATIONWe currently work in a remote hybrid model with offices in Chennai and Bangalore. TIMINGSWe work on rotational shifts that change depending on the region you are working with and at the discretion of your line manager.
