Specific Skills

  • Excellent communications skills (both oral and written) to coordinate with the stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, designers etc.
  • Excellent Retail domain experience with good understanding of at least one merchandising system product/ERP
  • Good at interviewing, elicitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity.
  • Good at strategic planning for current and future business environments to create flexible solutions.
  • Work closely with business and technical staff to understand the requirements, model processes, and ensure the quality of documentation meets defined standards.
  • Document details regarding existing system processes and newly designed solutions
  • Work with IT teams to estimate project resources, durations, and schedule.
  • Experience with executing/ working in Agile methodology projects.
  • Should be familiar with different phases of testing and types of testing
  • Manage junior BAs, mentor and conduct domain or skill learning session

Details of duties to be performed

  • Should be able to coach junior BAs
  • Should be able to provide domain consultancy to implementation team
  • Should be well versed with defining backlogs and user stories
  • Ability to create wireframe and flow diagrams
