What You’ll Do
Lead R&D efforts to develop, optimize, and scale mycelium strains for various products.
Experiment with substrates and growth environments to enhance performance.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to turn mycelium into functional materials (think packaging, textiles, and construction materials).
Drive innovations in fungal biology , from strain selection to hybridization.
Document your findings and experiments to fuel Mycelo’s innovation roadmap.
Who You Are
Expert – You have a Master’s or PhD in Mycology, Microbiology, Biotechnology , or a related field.
Fungal Fanatic – You’ve worked hands-on with fungi and love experimenting with different strains and substrates.
Curious by Nature – You thrive on trying new things, solving problems, and pushing the boundaries of biology.
Impact-Driven – Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for you; it’s a mission.
Team Player – You enjoy collaborating across disciplines and working in a fast-moving startup environment.
