Senior Project Manager Translation & Localisation Experience Required: 15+ yearsLocation: Noida (Work from Office)Employment Type: Full-TimeShift: US ShiftAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager (Translation & Localisation) to lead and oversee end-to-end localization projects for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation/localization workflows, vendor and client management, and cross-functional coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality multilingual content while driving process efficiency, client satisfaction, and team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & DeliveryLead and manage multiple translation and localisation projects simultaneously from initiation to final delivery.Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations in alignment with client requirements.Create and manage detailed project plans, tracking progress and mitigating risks proactively.Oversee all aspects of localisation workflows, including translation, editing, proofreading, DTP, QA, and delivery.Ensure projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.Client & Stakeholder CommunicationAct as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Understand client goals and provide consultative solutions to improve localisation outcomes.Manage regular status updates, reporting, and post-project reviews.Team & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate internal teams (linguists, engineers, QA, DTP) and external vendors/freelancers for seamless project execution.Manage resource allocation, negotiate vendor rates, and ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of project managers and linguists.Process Improvement & Quality AssuranceIdentify opportunities to improve project workflows, automation, and efficiency.Implement localisation best practices and standard operating procedures.Contribute to the development of new tools, technologies, and methodologies in project delivery.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, or a related field.13+ years of experience managing translation/localisation projects in a language services company or similar environment.Strong understanding of translation workflows, CAT tools (e.g., memo, SDL Trados, XTM, Smarting ), and QA processes.Proven experience handling large-scale, multi-language projects with global clients.Exceptional organizational, communication, and client management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello ).Preferred SkillsExperience working with localisation engineering and file preparation processes.Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 17100 ) and localisation best practices.PMP or Prince2 certification (or equivalent) is a plus.Experience in specific content domains such as legal, medical, technical, or marketing localisation is an advantage.Soft SkillsStrong leadership and mentoring abilities.Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness for global client collaboration.Think global.
