Role description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge in optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will be responsible for automating software delivery and deployment processes, developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerizing applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes or similar tools.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps.
Implementing security controls and best practices in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services.
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and containerization technologies.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Skills and Knowledge :
·      Understanding of security principles, practices, and standards (e.g., OWASP, CIS Benchmarks).
·      Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF).
·      In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP).
Personal Skills : Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team player.
Additional Skills : Knowledge of other blockchain protocols, EVM-compatible chains, and familiarity with the broader Web3 ecosystem is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
Experience with infrastructure automation using serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including secure configuration management and vulnerability assessment.
