About Us The ffreedom app is India's largest platform for micro-entrepreneurs. It is designed to empower individuals across various sectors by providing practical video-based courses, access to one-to-one expert advice over video calls, tools to manage their business & access to credit. With a library of over 500+ courses, the app covers various topics, including personal finance, agriculture, animal husbandry, and numerous business sectors such as handicrafts, retail, service industries, and home-based ventures. Recently, we launched an AI-powered bot (Sri Chatbot) to help users seek knowledge on any topics related to our platform's offerings. Our mobile app serves over 3 million active users and offers courses in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. We are looking for a talented Product Manager to help shape the future of our platform by delivering intuitive, user-friendly experiences across mobile, web, and desktop applications. Role Overview As a Product Manager , you will leverage your strong engineering background and product management expertise to identify customer problems, define impactful solutions, and ensure seamless execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data to drive decisions and deliver intuitive user-centric features for a platform serving millions of users. Key Responsibilities Co-Creation: Drive the development of impactful features by collaborating with design and engineering teams, using creativity to deliver meaningful solutions. Prioritization: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, using frameworks to make trade-offs with clear, data-driven reasoning. Roadmapping: Develop detailed roadmaps for complex features, breaking them into phases based on business needs and resource constraints. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Work closely with the development team to translate requirements into production. Data-Driven Analytics: Define success metrics for functionalities, analyze product data, and apply funnel analysis, user path analysis, and raw data interpretation to improve the user experience. Proficiency in Atlassian Ecosystem: Document product requirements and create user stories using tools like Confluence, Jira, and Atlas. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery. Agile Practices: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to maintain a smooth release cycle. Interpersonal Skills: Proactively gather information, ask the right questions, define the scope, and streamline processes to reduce iterations and remove information barriers. Qualifications Engineering Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field with hands-on software development experience of at least 2 years . Product Management Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in product management , with a proven track record of working on B2 C applications. Platform Scale: Experience working on a B2 C app with at least 1 million users . Product Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Google Analytics/Metabase. Strong understanding of design workflows, product documentation, and cross-team collaboration. Collaboration: Ability to work closely with engineering teams in product-based companies to build and deliver solutions. Platform Experience: Proven expertise in designing for mobile apps, web apps, and desktop platforms. Experience with multilingual platforms is a plus. Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in using analytics and data to measure features' success and identify improvement opportunities.
