Experience: 4–8 years Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced L3 Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and working knowledge of Java , with a passion for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability in production environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 3 (L3) support for production applications built on Ruby on Rails and Java. Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and implement permanent fixes. Collaborate with development teams to resolve escalated issues and deliver hotfixes or patches. Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues. Create and maintain knowledge base articles , runbooks, and technical documentation. Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident support. Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and releases. Required Skills & Qualifications: Primary: Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (3+ years). Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Secondary: Working knowledge of Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate preferred). Additional Skills: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. Experience with REST APIs , debugging, and performance tuning. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
