The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our social media presence, creating engaging content, driving traffic, and enhancing brand awareness across various platforms. The SMO Specialist will work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to implement effective social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective SMO strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.).
  • Optimize company social media profiles and pages to improve visibility and reach.
  • Plan and create content (text, image, video) that aligns with the brand's voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage online communities to foster a positive brand image.
  • Conduct competitive research and identify trends in the industry to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with broader marketing goals and campaigns.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Monitor social media trends and implement relevant changes to increase engagement and audience growth.
  • Track social media KPIs (likes, shares, comments, traffic, etc.) and prepare monthly reports for management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and optimization (at least 2-3 years).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Familiarity with social media tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to create and edit content that is engaging, creative, and aligned with the brand.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO and its relation to social media is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and advertising tools (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Knowledge of social media trends and tools such as TikTok, Snapchat, and newer platforms.
  • Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) are a bonus.
  • Experience in video content creation and editing.
