noon Food is a restaurant-first platform on the noon app, offering fair commissions, a sustainable program, and operating flexibility for the food and beverage industry in the Middle East. The most recent addition to the noon ecosystem, the noon Food mission is to revolutionize the F&B delivery landscape, firmly putting the control and success back in the hands of retailers.
As an Associate Creative Director Design, you will play a crucial role in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of product design across our platform. You will lead a talented team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Growth, Commercial, and Restaurant Experience to deliver world-class design solutions that elevate user satisfaction, increase engagement, and drive business growth. You’ll be responsible for setting design direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring design excellence across all customer touchpoints.
What you'll do:
Define and drive the design vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of visual & onsite designers fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Ensure design consistency, high-quality standards, and cohesive experiences across all platforms (mobile, web, etc.).
Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation and prototyping to final execution, ensuring a data-driven approach to design decisions.
Advocate for design systems, user-centered design practices, and user research to create intuitive, seamless, and engaging user experiences.
Drive cross-functional alignment on the approach of the solution with the aid of mockups and wireframes
Once the approach is aligned on, develop high quality designs using industry best practices and with emphasis on attention to detail
Play an active role in developing the vision for the product, and not just focus on the immediate solutions
Identify new design trends that we should study / adopt in order to continuously improve the user experience.
Contribute to product planning and strategy
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education.
7+ years of experience in digital onsite & product design, with at least 3+ years of experience managing and leading design teams.
Proven track record of delivering impactful and user-centered design solutions for mobile apps, websites, and other digital platforms.
Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design, interaction design, and usability best practices.
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to convey design concepts and rationale effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
