The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for building scalable, high-performing web applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying features that directly impact our business and provide a seamless experience for our users.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust web applications across the full stack.- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular.js.- Build and maintain scalable, efficient server-side applications using Python or Java.- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) leveraging core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.- Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle — from conception through deployment and maintenance.- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and participate in code reviews.- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software for performance and reliability.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to keep our tech stack modern and effective.Primary Skills- Minimum of 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.- Front-end development expertise using Angular.js, including familiarity with Angular UI Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and PrimeNG.- Strong backend development skills in Python (preferred) or Java.- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.- Proficient with Python testing frameworks like Pytest.- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway.- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and asynchronous request handling.- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.- Proficiency in version control systems, specifically Git.- Experience working in Agile development environments.Secondary Skills- Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jasmine and/or Karma.- Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.- Understanding of API Gateway and IAM roles in AWS.- Comfortable participating in code reviews and pair programming.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.Good to Have Skills- Experience with other modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js.- Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and microservices design.- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic startup or product-driven environments.What We Believe:We’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
