Job Title: Record-to-Report (R2 R) Support Specialist
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- This role involves supporting the end-to-end R2 R process, including financial statement preparation, month-end activities, and audits. Candidates with a strong grasp of financial processes, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in tools like MS Excel and Power Point will thrive in this role.
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with articleship from a Big 4 or reputed CA firm.
- Manage and oversee financial statement preparation and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Handle audits by preparing accurate documentation and providing support during internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain and monitor general ledger integrity and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the R2 R process and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide hands-on support for financial data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Utilize tools like MS Excel, Power Point, and ERP systems to prepare reports and presentations.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, automation initiatives, and other transformation projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Articleship experience from Big 4 firms or reputed CA firms is highly desirable.
- Hands-on knowledge of financial statement preparation, month-close activities, and audit handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in process improvement or automation projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
