Earlier Sequoia Surge, Fundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. We require a reliable Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems to join our capable team. The Quantity Surveyor (MEP) will be responsible for analyzing budgets, preparing MEP quantity take-offs, estimating costs, negotiating with contractors/vendors, and coordinating closely with project managers and site engineers.
Ability to read and analyze MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-fighting, HVAC, ELV, etc.) General QS responsibilities including but not limited to
Rate analysis for various MEP activities with knowledge of industry-standard coefficients.
Reconciliation of major MEP materials (cables, conduits, ducting, pipes, valves, fixtures, equipment, etc.)
Cost monitoring and control of MEP services
Preparing reports, cost analyses, budgets, and risk assessments for MEP scope
Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors for MEP works
Site visits for verification of executed quantities and reconciliation of MEP installations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in MEP works
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction standards, and industry practices
Experience in preparation of BOQ, cost estimation, and tendering for MEP services
