Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst

Location: Fully Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to support our client's transaction and financial analysis activities. This role requires strong financial modeling skills , analytical capabilities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. The analyst will work closely with senior bankers and clients, providing essential support for Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), leveraged buyouts (LBOs), etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling & Valuation:

  • Build, maintain, and update Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
  • Analyze key metrics, business performance drivers, and capital structure implications for target investments.

Deal Execution & Due Diligence

  • Lead and project manage the due diligence process for transactions from start to close.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for Quality of Earnings (QoE), technology due diligence, legal review, and other specialized assessments.
  • Manage the virtual data room, ensuring all required documentation from the seller is collected, organized, and updated.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure efficient deal execution.

Transaction Support:

  • Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and client deliverables
  • Assist in due diligence, data room management, and transaction documentation

Market & Industry Research:

  • Conduct market, competitor, and sector analysis to identify investment trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare research briefs and industry reports to support investment decisions.

Client & Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with senior bankers and clients to provide analytical support
  • Participate in internal discussions and contribute insights for deal execution

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a related investment role
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, M&A models)
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
