Information Technology Project Manager

Role OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an IT Project Manager based out of Bangalore, India. This role is responsible for coordinating both business and technology project activities, ensuring timely update of project status, preparing and distributing reports to senior stakeholders. You will work with a team of project leaders and other coordinators, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential. You will report to the Coffee Global Technology Director and work with a truly global environment that provides developmental opportunities for the incumbent who is eager to demonstrate the skills and experience in a challenging and fast paced soft commodities environment.Volcafe Ltd is one of the world’s leading international green coffee trading companies, operating in over 20 countries globally. Our Volcafe Way farmer support program engages with thousands of coffee farmers and provides a holistic response to the challenges they face.Key AccountabilitiesCreating and maintaining project library and plans, file, recording and reporting systemsCoordinate and support the delivery of multiple concurrent technology projects (both small-scale enhancements and large-scale implementations)Maintaining project management methods, standards, and processesAssisting and advising team members on procedures, disciplines and recording and reporting requirementsTracking risk and issue logs and changing control dataDeveloping and maintaining effective project team communication systemsDeveloping and implementing proceduresProducing project summary reports and coordinating the preparation of all reportsSetting up and maintaining cost-recording systemsDefining and documenting methodology proceduresAssisting with other administrative responsibilities assignedAct as the point of contact for all participantsSkills and Experience5 – 8 years of demonstrated experience in technology environments and end-to-end IT-related project support, project administration or management rolePrior experience leading projects in Microsoft Power Apps will be an advantageFamiliar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesGood understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)Awareness of vendor management practices and third-party collaboration modelsExperience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill setsThorough understanding of project management fundamentalsGood understanding of the software development life cycleThrough understanding of project prioritizationSolid understanding of project management fundamentals and lifecycle stages.Knowledge of project tracking tools is a plusStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsPrioritization and organizational abilities with strong problem-solving skillsProven experience juggling multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently while coordinating across diverse technical teams and external partnersWe recognize that talent comes in many forms, and we value potential just as much as experience.
