Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate is a generalist developer, ready to tackle any task with autonomy and creativity, and who has a proven track record of building mobile and web apps from the ground up. You will be responsible for working on cutting-edge projects and bringing new products to life in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, optimize, and scale RESTful APIs to support dynamic and data-driven user experiences.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design schema and optimize queries for performance and scalability.
Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.
Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to align backend systems with user requirements.
Maintain high standards of code quality by implementing automated testing, code reviews, and adhering to best practices.
Monitor and improve the performance of applications and services to ensure a seamless user experience.
Tackle production issues as they arise and provide quick, effective resolutions.
Requirements :
1-4 years of professional experience as a backend developer, preferably in a startup environment.
Proficiency in Node.js: Strong hands-on experience in Node.js development.
Familiarity with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
Experience in building and managing RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
A proactive, self-motivated approach, and an enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
A keen interest in AI technologies and their applications is highly valued.
