Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Plush Toy Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pattern making, fabric design, and proficiency in computer-aided design tools. If you are someone who loves creating playful designs and has a deep understanding of the plush toy industry, we'd love to hear from you


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop unique plush toy concepts from initial sketches to final prototypes.
  • Create detailed patterns and technical specifications for plush toy production.
  • Use computer design tools (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, etc.) to create detailed illustrations and digital mock-ups.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing processes.
  • Work on fabric print designs to complement plush toy concepts.
  • Analyze and incorporate buyer and licensor feedback to refine designs and get samples approved from start to finish.
  • Research market trends and competitor products to inspire new designs and ensure market relevance.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plush toy design or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of pattern making and soft toy design techniques.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, etc.).
  • Experience with fabric print design is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the plush toy industry, including current trends, materials, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with potential and existing clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into marketable plush toy designs.
