Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual / E-Commerce) Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 6+ Years (Minimum 3+ years in e-commerce/manual testing) Employment Type: Full Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in e-commerce testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of STLC, test case design, test execution, and hands-on experience with testing tools, defect tracking, and Agile delivery environments. Must Have Skills Bachelor’s degree in BE / B.Tech / MCA / Computer Science or equivalent. 5+ years of manual testing experience, including 3+ years in e-commerce or web application testing . Strong understanding of STLC , test planning, test case writing, execution, and reporting. Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr). Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , relational databases, and SQL for backend validation. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Preferred / Nice to Have Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST). Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks ( Selenium, Cypress , etc.). Experience with performance, usability, cross-browser, or mobile testing . Understanding of e-commerce workflows : product catalog, search, filtering, cart, checkout, payments, promotions, returns. Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps pipelines , or integration of tests. Awareness of security testing or accessibility testing .
