Job Description:
Desired Competencies:
Experience in Palo Alto installation and configuration ·
Hands-on Experience in Palo Alto, Administration & Troubleshooting (DCLAN) ·
Hands-on experience in Configuration, Management and deployment of Fortinet, Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA, and Meraki MX ·
Hands-on Experience in Checkpoint Firewall Administration (Perimeter Security) ·
Data knowledge o Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing o Networking topologies and protocols.
Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS o Palo Alto Command line o Cisco command line ·
Must have a good networking background and understanding ·
Must have sound understanding of Zscaler Proxy and Perimeter security solutions ·
Must have understanding of Aruba Clearpass solution and support
Good To Have:
Experience in configuring or know how on VXLAN ·
Ability to set direction and prioritize work and resources based operational and client needs.
Datacenter Networking Cisco product and technology knowledge. ·
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred
CCNP certified (or higher) ·
ITI based support team with 24x7 support operations ·
Reviews functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements.
Hands-on Experience in F5 Load balancer Administration & Troubleshooting (DCLAN) ·
Experience in MPLS, VRF, VPN, and network routing ·
Experience of installing Cisco and HP networking equipment
