Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an IBMi Developer at Neutrinos. The IBMi Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications on the IBMi platform. Day-to-day tasks may include coding, debugging, and optimizing programs, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications:-
Experience : Minimum of 7 years as an IBM i developer.
Technical Proficiency : Expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, and SQLRPGLE programming languages.
ILE Concepts : Strong understanding and application of ILE concepts.
Coding Standards : Familiarity with free-format coding practices.
Data Handling : Experience with JSON and XML data formatting is a plus.
Integration Tools : Knowledge of integration practices and experience with Postman is advantageous.
Development Tools : Experience with IBM Rational Development for i is a benefit.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
Work Environment:-
Client Engagement : Work with an Australian client, operating in the AEST time zone (starting at 5 AM IST). With early morning shift allowance as perk.
Work Arrangement : Fully remote work model (100% work from home).
Project Focus : No involvement in support projects or production release activities.
Learning Opportunities : Significant potential to learn and apply ILE concepts and engage in integration projects, with end-to-end access for testing.
Development Practices : Utilize IBM Rational Development for i for coding and release management, with minimal use of emulators.
Team Support : Strong team collaboration to facilitate learning and professional growth.
