Job Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our company's operational framework, ensuring smooth internal processes, and supporting strategic business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve company efficiency and productivity
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate between different departments
- Create and maintain comprehensive operational reports and dashboards
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create financial models, and generate insights
- Streamline business processes and identify opportunities for optimization
- Manage project timelines, resources, and team performance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Mandatory Skills
- Excel Expertise : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Complex formula creation
- Pivot tables and data analysis
- Financial modeling
- Dashboard and reporting
- Multitasking Capabilities :
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven track record of handling diverse responsibilities effectively
- Startup Experience :
- Minimum of 2-3 years working in a startup environment
- Understanding of startup dynamics, rapid scaling, and resource optimization
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of operations management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Project management tools (Asana, Trello, or similar)
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools
- Familiarity with HR and financial management software
