Specifically, an Azure Engineer, Tier 2 will:
Design and develop cloud architectures using Azure services and best practices
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and client.
Ensure the security, scalability, reliability, and availability of cloud solutions
Optimize cloud resources and costs
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance and issues
Document and update cloud architectures and processes
Stay updated with the latest cloud computing trends and technologies
Design and deploy network solutions using Azure Virtual Network, Azure VPN Gateway, and other Azure networking services.
Design, deploy, and manage applications using Azure App Services, Function App, and other PaaS Services ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and secure.
Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operational processes.
Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Follow the best practices for cloud and DevOps.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring consistency and reliability in cloud resource management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in cloud architecture, development, and deployment.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Proficiency in deploying and managing applications using Azure App Services, Function App Containers,Container Apps, and Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS).
Strong knowledge of Azure networking services, features, and capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Certification in Azure Administration and Azure DevOps or equivalent is a plus
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance
