About Project AWAREProject AWARE advances Awareness, Readiness & Ethics in AI considering the unchecked rapid AI adoption that we have seen. We’re launching a pan-India study on how rapid AI adoption is shaping the future of work (FoW) and social mobility, short-term shifts and long-term outcomes across regions and communities.What you’ll doRun literature scans and prepare concise evidence memos. Help design surveys/interview guides; support data collection (remote). Analyse findings (basic quant/qual) and draft policy briefs & research notes. Map sectoral use-cases (law, education, health, gig work, public services, etc.). Uphold research ethics (consent, privacy) and maintain tidy documentation. You haveBackground/interest in public policy, economics, sociology, law, education, AI & society (students and early professionals welcome). Strong writing and synthesis; comfort with Google Docs/Sheets. Bonus: R/Python or STATA; fieldwork experience; proficiency in an Indian language in addition to English. Curiosity about equity—perspectives from marginalized communities are especially valued. What you getCertificate of Contribution (LoR possible based on output). Named credit; authorship on select outputs that meet contribution thresholds. Mentorship, weekly check-ins, and access to our research templates/toolkits.
