Role Overview:

As a Counselling Associate Manager in the Central Counselling team, you will be responsible for managing a team of counsellors, driving student engagement, ensuring high conversion rates, and delivering a seamless counselling experience. This is a leadership role focused on performance, quality, and empathetic student support.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a team of student counsellors to achieve individual and team targets.

Student Engagement: Oversee the entire counselling lifecycle – from inquiry handling to admission closure.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and enhance the quality of counselling interactions through audits, feedback, and coaching.

Performance Tracking: Analyze daily/weekly performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed.

Process Management: Standardize counselling processes, scripts, and follow-ups to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Escalation Handling: Manage high-stakes or escalated student cases with professionalism and empathy.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with admissions, academics, marketing, and tech teams to support student needs.

Reporting: Maintain dashboards, generate performance reports, and present updates to senior leadership.

Requirements:

~ Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Psychology, Education, or Management preferred

~4–6 years of counselling or inside sales experience (preferably in education or EdTech)

~1–2 years of experience in team handling or managerial roles

~ Strong verbal and written communication skills

~ Ability to lead with empathy, drive performance, and manage change

~ Familiarity with CRM tools and counselling workflow systems

~ Data-driven decision-making skills
