About the Position


We are seeking a Backend & Application Developer to contribute to the development and optimization of our mobile application, ensuring seamless integration with our backend systems. This role will focus on working closely with the team to build, improve, and scale the application, while optimizing its connection to the backend infrastructure. The candidate will play an important role in enhancing user experience and ensuring the application can handle large-scale deployments.


Responsibilities


  • Contribute to the development and optimization of the mobile application, focusing on improving performance and user experience in collaboration with the development team.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration between the mobile app and the backend infrastructure using modern API and communication protocols.
  • Support the management of backend architecture to facilitate real-time data exchange between IoT devices and the application.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of APIs for communication between the application and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with IoT and backend teams to align application development with system architecture and ensure effective data flow.
  • Help ensure the application is prepared for scalable deployments across multiple cities and thousands of devices.
  • Contribute to the user experience design of the app, helping to ensure intuitive navigation, smooth UI, and reliable functionality.


About You


The ideal candidate is a skilled developer with experience in both backend and mobile application development, who enjoys working collaboratively with a team. You are passionate about contributing to the creation and scaling of real-world applications that have a significant impact on urban mobility.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Proven experience in backend development and API design.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as REST and MQTT.
  • Strong proficiency in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android), with experience in Flutter preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and backend technologies, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, relational databases, and caching systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Experience in optimizing applications for scalability and high performance.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a collaborative approach to working with design teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, alongside IoT engineers and backend developers.
