The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and implementing cloud architecture solutions using AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to fulfil their requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices.
  • Lead and manage cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines.
  • Automate and optimize workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud environments.
  • Experience with AWS services relevant to application migrations, such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and EBS
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud deployments.
  • Document cloud architecture, processes, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and cloud migration strategies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
