About the function


The Godrej AI Lab, our Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence, drives AI adoption across the Godrej Industries Group, solving business challenges, enhancing operations, and upskilling our workforce. We collaborate with business units to identify AI use cases, select partners, and guide initiatives from concept to pilot, ensuring shared learning and innovation. Our goal is to be a transformative force, delivering impactful, AI-driven outcomes across the organisation.

About the role


As an AI Lab Manager, you will drive AI adoption and execution across the organisation. You'll manage AI projects, conduct market research to find innovative solutions, and ensure project success by working with stakeholders and vendors. This role demands strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for AI.


Key Responsibilities :


Drive AI project implementation

  • Lead projects from initiation to deployment
  • Oversee integration with existing systems


Collaborate with stakeholders

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Define project scope, requirements, and timelines
  • Ensure alignment with business strategy


Monitor and optimise progress

  • Track project progress and identify bottlenecks
  • Implement corrective actions for timely completion


Conduct research and evaluation

  • Research and explore potential AI solutions
  • Evaluate the latest AI technologies and trends
  • Present findings and recommendations


Ensure compliance

  • Adhere to data privacy and security regulations


Who are we looking for?


Education :


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or certifications in AI/Gen AI


Experience :


3-5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields

Proven track record of successfully leading tech projects

Familiarity with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms


Skills :


  • Strong technical understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with AI development tools and platforms
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic and curious mindset with a passion for learning and staying ahead in the AI domain
