Company Description Healing Nest Foundation has been providing holistic mental healthcare solutions for children and adolescents for over a decade. Our services include child development, early intervention for developmental delays, social communication and language therapy, occupational therapy, special education, and group sessions. We also offer child and adolescent counseling, parent guidance and counseling, workshops and training for parents, teachers, school staff, and students, as well as consultation services for schools and other like-minded institutions. We continue to innovate and grow to increase our reach and impact. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher, located in Delhi, India. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with disabilities, providing instruction in academic subjects and life skills, and offering support to ensure students' holistic development. Other tasks include collaborating with parents, teachers, and therapists, monitoring student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse needs. Qualifications Expertise in Special Education and Teaching Minimum Qualification of B.ed in special education Proficiency in working with students with Disabilities Work experience of 1-2 years in any other organization. Experience in teaching Primary and Middle School-aged children Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and adaptability Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field Experience in educational settings or relevant certifications is a plus
