Job Title: QC Engineer – PEBDepartment: Quality ControlLocation: HyderabadReports To: Quality Manager / Plant HeadJob Purpose:Responsible for ensuring quality standards in fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) in line with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant codes/standards.Key Responsibilities:Inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.Participate in internal and external audits.Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.Skills & Competencies:Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.Sound knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).Understanding of painting and coating standards.Good communication and reporting skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.Qualification & Experience:Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
