About Us


Thread Factory is a B2B fashion marketplace empowering unorganized apparel retailers with data-driven insights and technology to source the latest fashion from India’s top manufacturers. Our focus is on building a robust R&D platform that not only supports sourcing but also offers valuable trend insights to help retailers curate the perfect collections for their stores. Currently in stealth mode, we are developing a comprehensive omni-channel solution to streamline procurement, enhance sales, and simplify operations


What we are looking for?


We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team at Thread Factory. In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating seamless and engaging user experiences for our web and mobile platforms. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing intuitive product flows and ensuring every interaction with our platform is delightful and user-focused.As part of an early-stage startup, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the design vision and have a direct impact on the success of India’s next big fashion company.


Responsibilities


  • Design user interfaces and experiences for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing aesthetic.
  • Map and design intuitive product flows that enhance usability and guide users seamlessly through the platform.
  • Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test ideas.
  • Work closely with the founding team, developers, and stakeholders to align designs with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs for optimal user satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Design engaging banners and campaign assets that resonate with our audience.
  • Maintain and evolve Thread Factory’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Develop graphics that effectively communicate ideas and enhance the overall brand narrative.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in both UI/UX design and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • Skilled in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
  • Experience conducting user research and applying insights to refine designs.
  • A strong sense of aesthetics, color theory, typography, and layout principles
  • Ability to switch between UI/UX design and graphic design tasks seamlessly
  • Strong ability to present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Nice To Have


  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience in designing for e-commerce or B2B platforms.
