Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager and Scrum Master to join our Software Product Development team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software projects. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality products. Availability during European time zones is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budgets.
Coordinate project tasks to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on status, milestones, and changes.
Maintain thorough project documentation, including charters, schedules, and post-project evaluations.
Scrum Master
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Promote Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine product backlogs.
Identify and resolve impediments to the team’s progress.
Encourage open communication and teamwork, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years in a Scrum Master role within software development.
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering results on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Preferred
Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
Advanced degree or PMP certification.
Familiarity with SDLC processes and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
