TCS Walking Interview for -Network Engineer, Azure-3to8yrs Hyderabad Date of Interview - 5th Oct-2024 Must-Have**(Ideally should not be more than 3-5) Palo alto installation, HA,configuration, Monitoring, Troubleshooting Azure cloud Should work in 24*7 support Good-to-Have Firewall and Security concepts SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Ability to handle the L2 and L3 issue on Azure Dev Ops services.
2 Installing, Configuring standard and virtual firewall in Cloud 3 GCP/Azure clouds hand on.
4 Good Experience in working Palo Alto Network based Firewalls in azure (VM Series and Physical)5 Deep understanding on Palo Alto user ID/Role Base functionality 6 Deep Understanding on Palo Alto Concepts & Features 7 Familiarity with networking troubleshooting (ping, tracert, tracemon, tcpdump, etc)8 Requires excellent analytical ability for network traffic manipulation and flows, strong judgement and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit’s functions and applications 9 Broad knowledge on LAN technologies including TCP/IP, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, Windows and extensive knowledge of network security tools 10 IP networking skill-set including IP addressing, switching, routing 11 Experience with managing wireless and LAN networks, including switches, routers and other related equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot complex network problems affecting LAN, WAN, Internet connections, and issues of end user issues.
12 Experience with Azure Monitoring Setup : Express Routes , Virtual Networks, Subnets, Peering’s(Log Analytics Workspace , Performance Counters & Alerts Configuration for all resources in azure)13 Experience on setting up Active/passive HA on Azure 14 Familiarity with adherence to standard change management procedures when introducing technical changes to production environments.
15 Patching, Saving and Restoring configuration 16 Cloud service, incident, problem, SLA management 17 Supporting existing and new infrastructure in Public cloud 18 Support activities needed to implement and maintain security policy & regulator guidelines 19 Should be able to audit cloud related tasks using cloud trail.
