Responsibilities Travel to Customer location required for pre-sales activities Responding to RFP's / RFI's / RFQ’s as part of pre-sales process. Participate in due diligence meetings with customer to gather more information on proposal/information request and environment. Architect winning techno-commercial Information Security solutions as part of the pre-sales process. Prepare Proposal documents including proposals, pricing sheet, solution presentations against RFP’s/RFI’s Contractual documents such as Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions etc Understanding new data technologies/products and position them in relevant solution proposal Keep himself/herself up-to-date with latest products features, licensing, architecture and price Defend end-to-end data solutions to customer/internal stakeholders Working closely alongside other technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with the overall proposed solution. Work with OEM / Partners to ensure an appropriate solution is proposed during Presales Cycle Knowledge & Experience Understanding of various areas under Network domain - Data Center LAN technologies and platforms Data center design and solution Data Center LAN sizing and architecture Cisco ACI SDN architecture VMware NSX architecture Wide Area Network technologies WAN connectivity architecture and solution SD-WAN Solutions from cloud providers such as Viptela, Velo, Silver peak, Fortinet, etc. Extensive experience in Working with Telecom Providers designing Enterprise WAN Campus LAN and Wireless LAN technologies TCP/IP protocol suite Application protocols - FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc. Wireless Networking Technologies, Wireless LAN security Routing Protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP Switching L2 and L3 LAN switching technologies, VLANs, IEEE802.1 Q Trunking, Ether Channel etc. DHCP and DNS Architecture Technical experience with designing, installing, configuring and supporting security infrastructure technologies, tools. CCNP desired and CCNA mandatory Personal Attributes Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Should be able to handle customer queries and defend the proposed solution. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Should be willing to travel extensively to perform the required functions. Years of Experience: 12-20 years in Networks Domain / Pre-sales / Consulting
