We arelooking for a skilled and quality-conscious QC Engineer with a background inmanufacturing or the automobile industry to join our team and uphold ourcommitment to excellence.Role SummaryThe QC Engineer – Incoming & In-Process is responsible for ensuring thequality of raw materials received and monitoring in-process production tomaintain compliance with defined standards. This role demands hands-oninspection, problem-solving, and coordination with cross-functional teams toensure zero-defect output and continuous improvement in qualityperformance.Key ResponsibilitiesIncoming Quality ControlInspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and parts against specifications and purchase orders.Prepare inspection reports and escalate any deviations found.Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) and sample approval processes.In-Process Quality ControlConduct in-process quality checks across production stages to ensure products meet specifications.Identify real-time defects or process deviations and initiate immediate corrective actions.Ensure adherence to quality checkpoints and control plans on the shop floor.Coordination & Problem SolvingCollaborate with production supervisors and operators for smooth implementation of quality standards.Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for defects or non-conformities.Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Documentation & ToolsMaintain comprehensive inspection records, report, and change logs.Ensure all inspection tools and gauges (callipers, micrometres, etc.) are calibrated and used correctly.Support internal and external audits with traceable documentation.Candidate Requirements3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods , gauging techniques , and measurement tools .Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.Preferred Industry BackgroundAutomobile / Auto Components Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing setups with strong QCproceduresWhy Join Gopani?Opportunity to work in a process-driven, innovation-led organization.Exposure to high-quality standards and cross-functional team collaboration.A culture that values precision, ownership, and continuous improvement.
