Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Senior Cloud Network Administrator The Senior Cloud Network Administrator is responsible for managing and operating the organization's Azure and AWS cloud-based network infrastructure. This role involves building and managing Azure Express Route, AWS Direct Connect, virtual networks, DMZs, cloud firewalls, and proxies to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the cloud-based information systems that support core organizational functions. The administrator will also handle day-to-day incidents, changes, and problem records, and should have experience with ITSM processes and tools such as Service Now or similar. Because the role is part of a global team, the candidate must be able to work in 9 AM – 6 PM IST shift as well as being available on weekends previous notification. Build, manage, and maintain the company's Azure and AWS cloud-based infrastructure. • Establish and manage Azure Express Route and AWS Direct Connect to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity. • Design and implement virtual networks within Azure and AWS environments. • Build and manage DMZs in Azure and AWS to provide an additional layer of security. • Implement and manage cloud native and 3rd party firewalls to protect cloud-based resources. • Enable and configure monitoring for cloud network infrastructure. • Use ITSM processes and tools such as Service Now to manage incidents, changes, and problem records. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud-based infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Overall 8+ years’ real experience as Senior Cloud Network Administrator and troubleshooting network incidents and problems. • Experience with Azure cloud network services and understanding of network architecture. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, or similar are advantageous. Network Architecture: Understanding of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts. • Proficiency in Azure and AWS cloud services: The administrator should have a deep understanding of Azure and AWS network related services, including Azure Express Route, AWS Direct Connect, virtual networks, DMZs, cloud firewalls, and INAC proxies. • Strong problem-solving skills are needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the cloud infrastructure. • Network Monitoring Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, i Perf, etc. • Basic Network Security: Knowledge of network security measures, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other industry-standard techniques and practices. • IT Service Management (ITSM): Experience with ITSM processes and tools such as Service Now is crucial for managing incidents, changes, and problem records. • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, or similar can demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency.
