Job Title: Sr. System Administrator
Location: Aerocity, Delhi
Job Summary:
TAC Security is seeking a skilled Sr. System Administrator with 5-7 years of experience to join our team in Aerocity, Delhi. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure. You will ensure system reliability, performance, and security, as well as assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Windows and Linux server environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee network infrastructure and connectivity, ensuring stability and security.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Monitor system performance, and implement upgrades or updates as needed.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices.
- Implement security protocols and conduct regular security audits to safeguard the company’s IT assets.
- Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Document system configurations, network architecture, and troubleshooting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a cybersecurity or tech environment.
- Strong proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash, for automation.
