Job Purpose Provides expert technical consulting services to clients; designs and implements tailored and complex solutions and their components; supports and mentors technical consultants; serves as a technical resource within a team. Focuses on designing solutions that meet clients’ business needs, as well as integrations with various other applications and platforms. Takes an active part in requirement scoping, architecture planning and development of designed solutions through use of best practices. Improves the knowledge portfolio and reaches new technical milestones throughout the engagements. Main Responsibilities Project delivery design technical solutions and fulfil technical development according to client requirements, identify outstanding client needs and provides timely status reports to project manager, support project and account manager in managing customer expectations, document and present technical solutions to wide variety of audiences, analyze and resolve complex technical issues, document and communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical contacts Client negotiate right technical solutions for clients and educate them in their use, advise solution consultants on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture, cooperate directly with customers architects and technical personnel, deliver a positive experience and add value for clients in every interaction, establish credibility at all levels with clients and build problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues, communicate and present to main customer stakeholders like CTOs, business owners, etc. Business and Sales assist sales staff in identifying leads and in pre-sales work, identify additional opportunities within projects, perform gap analysis highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices and competition, scope new opportunities and propose techniques for efficient delivery, Networking and Communication expand DXC network outside of your accounts, represent DXC in peer organizations, media, publication, speaking, and other channels, communicate in formal presentation settings including medium sized groups, internal and external project teams, and business unit events develop written communications to address varied styles and information needs. Technical and Methodology design and develop complex custom Service Now components with reusability in mind, design and implement complex integrations between Service Now and external systems both on-premise and in the cloud (e.g. SSO, SAP, other ITSM applications, custom platforms in use by the customer, …), contribute tools, techniques, and methods to continuously improve DXC technical delivery, design, develop and continually improve DXC internal Service Now products, actively participate in the selection, acquisition, configuration and troubleshooting of packaged solutions and technical infrastructure components, ensure each produced artefact, configured technical component and all personal interactions are of the highest quality coach and mentor junior colleagues in their continual improvement and assist them in achieving highest levels of product quality. Basic Qualifications: University degree in IT engineering, Other Qualifications: Ability to devise creative complex technical solutions, Excellent knowledge of Java Script or other scripting languages, Significant experience with relational databases and SQL, Hands-on experience with ITIL processes, Strong analysis and design skills, Experience in requirements gathering, Understanding of sales process, information and support requirements. Soft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English is mandatory, German desired, Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment, Ability to multi-task and work on several accounts simultaneously, Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems Ability to multi-task and work on several accounts simultaneously Team player, willing to mentor junior colleagues Curious and self-learner Willingness to travel Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience as Solution Architect, with focus on technical analysis and design, enterprise architecture. Minimum 5 years’ experience in consulting external customers, Experience working with on software development projects in field of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, SPM and HRSD Experience working in Agile projects, Experience with Service Now and Service Now certifications are highly desired. Must have Implementations experience of 4-5 on ITSM Service Implementations. Experience in ITAM (SAM & HAM implementation) Experience on 3-5 Service Now ITOM Implementation including Discovery, Event and Service Mapping Projects. Experience in HRSD, CSM, FSM & SPM will be added advantage Certified in CTA/CMA preferred.
