Greetings from Tata Consultancy ServicesWe are hiring for Python DeveloperRequired Skillset: Python, APIExperience : 5+yearsLocation : Noida, Pune, BLR, Kolkata, HydJob Description:API Development & Integration:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks likeFastAPI Framework .Microservices Architecture:Develop scalable and efficientmicroservicesand integrate them with various data sources and third-party services.Agile Development:Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and follow Agile best practices.Code Quality & Best Practices:Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following industry standards andPEP8 guidelines .Security & Performance:Implement authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), encryption, and other security measures while optimizing API performance.Database Management:Work with relational databases likePostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift .Cloud & DevOps:Deploy, monitor, and manage APIs inAWSleveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.Testing & Debugging:Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests usingPyTest, Unittest, or similar frameworks .Collaboration & Mentorship:Work closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) and mentor junior developers.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain API documentation usingSwagger/OpenAPI , and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :We are looking for aSenior Python Developer(5+ years of Python development experience) with expertise inAPI developmentand a strong understanding ofAgile methodologies .
