Founding Sales Specialist – Spurfit
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
At Spur.fit, we’re building the AI-first fitness operating system that helps gyms, online studios, and individual coaches grow revenue by boosting member engagement, retention, and productivity through personalised plans, branded apps, and automation. We give fitness businesses the tools to go global without losing their personal touch.

About the TeamSpurfit was founded by two IIT Kharagpur alumni and lifelong fitness enthusiasts who share a vision of empowering coaches with the tools they need to succeed on a global stage. With backgrounds spanning technology, AI/ML, endurance sports, and business building, they’ve combined their expertise to solve the operational challenges faced by fitness businesses everywhere. We talk to customers daily, adapt quickly, and build with purpose. Our team is lean, ambitious, and obsessed with delivering value.
Why This Role Matters
- You’ll be the first full-time sales hire , working directly with founders to build the GTM engine from scratch.
- Your wins define our revenue playbook - your influence is immediate, visible, and foundational.
- You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution: closing deals while shaping sales process, tooling, and customer feedback loops.
Sales & Strategy
- Own full-cycle sales in the U.S. SMB/mid-market (gyms, trainers, studios): from outbound prospecting to demos, negotiation, and close.
- Build and qualify pipeline, generating leads even without established inbound flows.
Motion & GTM Development
- Create sales playbooks, cadences, objection-handling scripts, and reporting frameworks.
- Implement CRM and tooling to scale pipelines and track performance.
Customer Insights
- Act as the voice of the customer - gather feedback to inform product and marketing.
- Participate in customer success handoffs and value reinforcement.
Growth Path
- Lay the groundwork for our future sales team. This is your runway to take on a senior role in sales as we scale.
- 1-3 years of SaaS sales , especially in Seed-to‑Series A companies - scrappy, resourceful, and self-directed.
- Proven success selling full-cycle into the U.S. SMB/mid-market. Global sales experience is a plus.
- Comfortable driving both inbound and outbound with minimal support.
- A builder who enjoys setting up systems, playbooks, and sales operations from the ground up.
- Excellent communicator, persuasive listener, and clear presenter, able to win both prospects and internal alignment.
- Passionate about fitness, technology, and helping coaches grow their impact.
- Equity-minded, committed to building long-term value alongside the team.
