In partnership with a leading global car manufacturer, DXC Luxoft is now opening new opportunities to develop modern in-vehicle connectivity.

We offer you to join a fast-growing team, supported by highly professional Luxoft experts, in a challenging journey: creation and customization of the modern and comprehensive Android system. You'll be a key member of a cross-functional scrum team, closely work with customers, and travel to the US and Canada.

While this job will be challenging and extremely interesting for a person with an analytical mind, it will be well compensated by DXC Luxoft wage and an excellent social package.

Responsibilities

  • As an Android Framework Developer for Android IVI, you will be involved in collaborating and developing solutions for Car Framework & V-HAL development on an embedded environment, which are robust and reusable.
  • Develop Embedded Android services and components with AOSP middleware for IVI system
  • Develop Java middleware Car services to support embedded Android applications
  • Develop HAL for Vehicle specific components
  • Root cause defects and provide robust software solutions
  • Participate in design, documentation, and unit testing to develop software components

Skills

  • Android Development experience (AOSP) developing or enhancing Android Framework services to support Android application interfaces
  • Hands-on experience in addition to specific properties in V-HAL
  • Software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms
  • Experience with AOSP internals and Android NDK APIs
  • Experience implementing Android Native Daemon services

Nice to have

  • Java programming language experience 5y+
  • C++ programming language experience 5y+
  • Experience & knowledge of Android Automotive
  • Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems
  • Hypervisor experience, QNX OS with Guest Android OS experience
