Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Digital Fluency to create comprehensive, outcome-driven content and curriculum in key areas such as AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and other digital fluency skills. This role involves developing engaging content, assessments, and instructional designs using approaches like the ADDIE with a focus on fostering computational thinking and ensuring alignment with learning outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging educational content on topics such as technology hardware literacy, use of software and mobile applications, data management, internet & knowledge navigation, cloud computing, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity.
  • Build curriculum that covers both foundational digital literacy (technology hardware, software, internet navigation) and advanced skills (cloud computing, AI, IoT, cybersecurity), ensuring alignment with measurable learning outcomes and industry needs.
  • Create multimedia videos that simplify complex topics in areas like AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and data management, ensuring a mix of theory and practical application.
  • Design assessments (quizzes, case studies, scenario-based exercises, etc.) linked to specific learning outcomes to evaluate students' understanding of key digital skills and progress.
  • Write instructional storyboards that ensure logical content progression and effective learning flow.
  • Design the instructional strategies with mapping of topics with appropriate delivery media.
  • Incorporate computational thinking (problem-solving, pattern recognition, etc.) into learning materials to help students approach and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Develop adaptable learning paths that support students at both basic and advanced levels, ensuring they can navigate new technologies and stay up to date with emerging trends.
  • Prototyping Content Samples: Design and create prototypes of content samples, including interactive learning activities and digital formats, to test and refine educational approaches before full-scale implementation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Expertise in digital fluency skills, including cloud computing, AI, IoT, AIoT, cybersecurity, and ethical technology usage.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or similar roles in digital technology education.
  • Proven experience creating educational content, storyboarding, and developing assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Strong project management and content development skills with a focus on outcome-based education and computational thinking.
