The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) eCommerce applications. The role involves planning and executing performance, load, and stress testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks. The engineer will also support functional and integration testing for Cart, Checkout, OMS, and POS flows to ensure seamless user experiences across digital channels. Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad. Monitor and analyze performance using Grafana, InfluxDB, New Relic, or Dynatrace. Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across API and web layers. Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to tune application performance and optimize infrastructure. Execute and validate SFCC promotions, campaigns, cart, and checkout flows. Support regression, compatibility, and cross-browser testing for web and mobile platforms. Communicate performance findings and QA insights to stakeholders. Performance Testing tools: Monitoring tools: Functional Testing tools: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC): Cart, Checkout, Promotions, Campaigns Order Management Systems (OMS) and Point-of-Sale (POS) testing Web and Mobile application testing, cross-browser compatibility Qualification & Experience: ~ Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ~4–5 years of experience in QA with strong expertise in performance testing and eCommerce systems. ~2–3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
